The South American Mission Society (SAMS) UK & Ireland is a registered charity and a member of SAMS International. SAMS UK & Ireland works in partnership with the Anglican Church in South America and focuses on the proclamation of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and the growth of the Church throughout the World, but primarily in South America, Spain & Portugal. The work of SAMS UK & Ireland is interesting and varied, as it seeks to respond to the challenges and requests from a developing Church in South America, and relates the work of God in South America to the Church in Ireland. The ministry of SAMS UK & Ireland can be traced back to the pioneer missionary, Captain Allen Gardiner in the 1830’s and 1840’s. More information about the work of SAMS can be found on our website.
